Collaborating consultant
Sture Persson
Financial management and operational change
Sture combines long experience in senior finance roles with hands-on work in administrative processes, system implementations and change projects. He moves easily between management's financial questions and the routines and systems that need to work in day-to-day operations.
A broad background in finance and management
Sture has served as finance manager and CFO at the Swedish Medical Association and Läkartidningen, finance director at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and finance director in property companies. He has also been CEO of a management company and has worked with cash management.
His experience covers management teams, board work, project management and line management roles. He holds an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and has worked in both limited companies and non-profit organisations.
Financial management connected to ways of working
Sture enjoys working with financial management, administrative processes and financial analysis. As a consultant he has reviewed finance processes, built up administrative functions and supported owner-managed companies in financial matters. His assignment experience also includes associations, adult education organisations and other organisations.
His expertise spans budgeting, financing, cash management, group accounting and investment matters. This gives several perspectives on how day-to-day administration connects with management's financial decisions.
Where finance, IT and change meet
Through his management roles, Sture has taken part in and led projects to implement business and budgeting systems, as well as systems that feed data into the finance systems. He has experience of changing administrative processes in connection with such implementations.
Sture is highly proficient in Excel and has experience of Visma Control, Fortnox, Microsoft Dynamics, Hogia, Medius, BizView and Hypergene, among others. His system knowledge complements his understanding of how the finance function works; the choice of solution needs to start from the organisation's needs.
Property, finance and collaboration
Sture's background includes property finance, property management and VAT on property. He and Peter Öberg have previously worked together in a business connected to property, technology and energy, where Sture contributed within finance, funding, administration and board work.
In his collaboration with Peter, he complements the management and execution perspective with financial analysis and experience of how the finance function is organised and developed.
