Property, housing and public governance
Björn combines experience as an entrepreneur in property and organisational development with several years close to the political and administrative decisions that shape the city. He moves between housing market actors, municipal governance and the questions that determine whether projects can be delivered.
Property, housing and urban development
Since 2023 Björn has run his own company, Björn Ljung Consulting AB, focused on property and organisation. He has chaired Bostadsforum, a joint housing forum of Storsthlm and the Stockholm Master Builders’ Association, and moderated seminars where ministers, housing companies and municipal representatives met to discuss housing development and policy.
Experience of public governance
From 2018 to 2023 Björn was a full-time elected representative at Stockholm City Hall. The experience gives an understanding of how political decisions are made, how administrations are governed and how long-term commitments need to be anchored to last.
Education
Björn studied at Stockholm University.
